Thinking About A New Millennium Makes Me Wanna Come - Jarvis Cocker (1999)
This was Jarvis’ contribution to a charity album in support of cancelling third world debt. The CD features a bizarre collection of politicians and celebrities giving their thoughts on the arrival of the new millennium. Those included range from Tony Benn and William Hague to Dickie Bird and Des’ree. It is clear from Jarvis’ contribution that he did not take it at all seriously.
