Fingertips: I Don’t Understand You - They Might Be Giants (1992)
One of many, many short songs from their 1992 album Apollo 18, designed to complement “the shuffle mode of most modern CD players,” and influenced by The Residents’ Commercial Album, which I’m sure you’ll hear a few cuts from on this blog in the future.
The “Fingertips” series is 21 short songs, often performed as an entire sequence live. It’s, well, it’s just brilliant.
